Yeshua (yeshua) — יֵשׁוּעַ — is the Hebrew name. Greek carries it as Iēsous. English says Jesus. Same man. Not a second person invented for Gentiles.

The name means the LORD saves. Joshua in English Bibles is the same name-family. First hearers could have used this name in the street. They would not have heard a last name.

Yeshua ha-Mashiach is the name plus the office. Do not use that full phrase as the ordinary way to say the name.
