Messiah (mashiach) — מָשִׁיחַ — Anointed. English for the Hebrew office-word.
Israel already knew the act. Kings and priests were smeared with oil for an office. The word then carries a promise: an Anointed still to come. First hearers did not hear a surname. They heard a job.
Greek says the same office with Χριστός (Christos). That page is Christ. The personal name is Yeshua. The name plus the office is Yeshua ha-Mashiach. Do not stack them as if volume were proof.
On this site Messiah is the office. Jesus is the English name. They meet in a claim. They are not two decorations for the same sentence.
Mashiach (mashiach) — מָשִׁיחַ — Anointed — counts 358. So does nachash (nachash) — נָחָשׁ — serpent — in Genesis 3. Two strings that already sit in the story share a total. That is an observation about letters. It is not a proof that the Anointed is the serpent, or that a number settles the claim.
