Later remembrances — not Leviticus 23

Status: Working notes Faith & Logic Published September 5, 2026

These days are not mo’adim. Leviticus 23 never dates Adar or Kislev. There is no holy convocation from Moses, no pilgrimage, no command from Sinai to stop ordinary work.

They are festivals in the house sense: set remembrances with a date and a reason. One is a letter in the Writings — a people not erased, lots overturned. One is the history of a house made holy again after it was defiled. Later Israel kept both. That keeping is real. It is not Sinai’s list.

The appointed times live on the sibling page. This page holds the two remembrances that sit beside that list, not on it.
